Potou Xantho is an extra virgin olive oil of cold extraction produced only by mechanical means in Maroneia, the mythic land of Cicones as mentioned by Homer. The rare maronitiki variety has deep roots in ancient Greek history, where its olive trees were growing at the slopes of Mount Ismaros in Northwest Greece thousands of years ago. The silver olive groves, hanging from the slopes of Mt. Ismaros, overlook the Thracian Sea breathing its breeze.
